Wild Flower Personal Training
Wild Flower Personal Training

121 Personal Training

In these sessions we will use movement to reach your personal goals, whether they are physical or mental.

Together we will challenge you to achieve hard things that you thought were not possible while also allowing space for rest, recovery and reflection. We will shift the primary focus away from exercising with a goal of what you can lose (weight, fat, shame) and instead to what you can gain (energy, strength, empowerment, mobility, mindfulness).

You can expect a safe and supportive environment where we will combine my knowledge of fitness and nutrition with your expertise of your own body to create an individualised programme. I understand that every body is unique and I promise to continually listen, adapt and allow you complete autonomy: your pace, your rules, my guidance.

GYM CONFIDENCE PROGRAMME

If you suffer from ‘gym-timidation’, get nervous entering the free weights area or feel like you are doing it wrong (psst, there isn’t really a wrong way to move your body and everybody is different anyway) then this is the progamme for you.

In three months I promise to leave you confident and capable in all areas of the gym. You will learn the correct form for your body, how to utilize all types of equipment, alternatives for busy times at the gym, how to target different muscle groups and all of the gym lingo that can seem like a whole new language (sets, reps, deload, AMRAP, PB, spot, ROM, unilateral, etc etc).

At the same time I will design and take you through a personalised programme specifically tailored to your goals, needs and level of experience. You will also have regular consultations with me to review and adapt your training if necessary and talk through your progress both physically and mentally.

Wild Flower Group Training

SMALL GROUP TRAINING

Small group training is not just an exercise class. It is a personalised and individual training programme delivered in a motivating, challenging and supportive group dynamic. On top of that, it also costs significantly less than 121 training.

At Wild Flower Training the groups will never be bigger than 5 people so you will always have the attention and motivation from the trainer when needed. Most importantly, you can feel safe in the knowledge that you will be surrounded by likeminded people who agree with the Wild Flower Training ethos of inclusivity, body neutrality and embodied movement.

Your journey will begin with a 121 consultation where together we will asses your personal needs, explore your exercise experience and develop individual goals. From there, you will be introduced to your teammates who you will train, grow, progress and sweat alongside!

Harriet Flower Personal Training

OUTDOOR GROUP TRAINING

In these outdoor circuit classes you can expect a fun, dynamic and energetic group fitness class - but very importantly, YOU will set the pace and choose when to challenge yourself and when to rest, recover and reflect. Each class will have a different focus so that over time you build strength, increase energy levels, develop mobility and learn new functional skills.

Both exercise and being outside have been shown again and again to help reduce stress and anxiety so if your life has a little too much of either of these things then this will be a great option for you. You will also be surprised by how much more you can challenge yourself when surrounded by a supportive community

Each class is adaptable and delivered to suit all levels so you can be inspired by and learn from one another.

Wild Flower Nutrional Coaching

NUTRITIONAL ANALYSIS

Do you feel like you would like to make some adjustments to you diet to better nourish your body? Do you have a history of yo-yo dieting, extreme restriction and binge eating?

I understand, I have been there, and I can help. My belief is that a healthy relationship with food begins with looking at what we can add, not what we can takeaway.

Through analyising your current diet I will develop a plan to improve the nutrional value of your diet, gain control over your eating habits and make more informed food choices.

"I loved my training session with Harry. I’ve always wanted to get into weight lifting but just had no clue where to start. Harry took me through a routine and set me up with a plan for how to incorporate weightlifting into my workouts. She explained everything so accessibly and made me feel like a pro after just one session."

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before getting in touch.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

Nope, all equipment will be provided. You don’t need to bring anything other than some water and yourself. Sometimes it can be nice to have a small towel incase you get sweaty.

What’s the difference between small group training and outdoor circuit training?

Small group training is more similar to 121 personal training. You will have an individual consultation, personalised plan for between sessions and weekly check ins with myself. We will also continually asses, reasses and review your progress in order to support your own goals. The difference to the 121 format however is that when training you will do it alongside 1-3 other teammates who share a similar goal.

Outdoor circuit training is more similar to a group fitness class you may have been to in a gym or park. The classes are delivered in pre-set formats rather than being tailored to your goals. That said you have a great amount of control during the class as to how hard or gently you want to push yourself.

Do I need previous experience?

Absolutely not, every body is welcome. All wild flower training services can be adapted to suit everyone from complete beginners to advanced movers and shakers. In the outdoor circuit training I will always give modifications to progress or regress the exercise so you have enough control to make the intensity and difficulty right for you. In small group training and 121 training we will spend time before discussing what experience you have so that I can develop a plan that meets you where you currently are.

What’s the difference between the gym confidence programme and 121 training?

On a basic level they are very similar in that in both services we will work together to develop an individualised and adaptable training plan designed to help you reach your goals. The difference is that in the gym confidence programme there will be additional emphasis on teaching you how to be fully independent in the gym setting. I will give you the tools, knowledge and support to follow programmes without my support, understand all the gym jargon and be able to walk into the weights area with confidence and a badass attitude.

How long are the outdoor circuit training sessions?

All classes are 1 hour long, including a warm up and cool down. I encourage you to arrive 5 minutes early so give you a chance to find a sport and allow me to check in with you and mke any adjustments I might need to take into account due to injuries or energy levels. I will always leave time afterwards to have a chit chat, catch up and discussion about any doubts or queries.

How long are the 121 and small group personal training sessions?

Sessions are normally 1 hour however I am aware that due to time or money constraints you may need them to be a little shorter. I will try my best to make sure we can work something out together so that these barriers don’t stand in your way of being able to exercise.

What would you recommend for a complete beginner?

100% come along to one of the group sessions, I will always offer variations so that everyone can participate regardless of their level. You will get a feeling for general vibe and ethos of wild flower training and then we can have a chat at the end to see what approach would be best for you. Alternatively, if you don’t feel ready for a class yet, book a discovery call with myself and we can take it from there.
